WHY PRICES IN DMART INCREASED ?

DMart

Supermarkets retail brand DMart, which has attracted a large number of customers in the country, is now undergoing a corona surge.

Representatives of the company said they had complied with all the rules laid down by the government for corona control. Organizers said it would cost the company a lot to keep the stores clean. This is why the prices of goods have been raised. The company wants customers to understand the current situation and think positively.

The company's sales growth fell 11 % in March from a year ago due to Corona's backing, and 45 % revenue in April. Senior employees of the company attributed the lockdown to a significant slowdown in sales growth in April. During the crisis, the company said it would effectively utilize home delivery to boost revenues.

But economists are finding that profit margins are inevitable if costs are rationalized and planned. "We will open 38 new stores this year", said DMart officials. DMart has stated that it has a capital of Rs.3500 crores and it's capable to handle any disaster.
